The Museum is now ready for the next reopening.
Nature has benefited greatly from the 55 days of lockdown.
Here are some pictures taken on the first day of deconfinement…
On Wednesdays, with Jeremy, the entire museum team began to reclaim the land and prepare the museum for the long-awaited reopening.
Certainly the pollution was less strong during the closure, but the foam still took advantage of it to invade the fuselage.
Taking advantage of the good weather this Thursday Jean Pierre, Alexandra and Jeremy immediately started cleaning up the left side of the fuselage. The next day Quentin and Steven deprived of their training courses to become our future airline pilots came to give a serious help and the cleaning progressed well ... but the coming weeks will still be very busy so that the plane becomes even more presentable.
At the same time, at the request of the municipality, a protocol was drawn up to take protective measures essential to prevent the spread of the virus by respecting the paths, and the distancing of visitors, according to the instructions of the Ministry of culture.
The file has been sent by the city to the prefecture to obtain administrative authorization to reopen.
The paths are traced, the protective equipment of the museum team is ready, as soon as the prefectural authorization is received, we will be ready to welcome visitors on appointment.
