Lionel has once again modified the model of Concorde F-BVFA into F-WTSA...

... in the same livery as it was displayed during the 1973 Paris Air Show.

Last year at the end of the first Covid lockdown period, Huichao and Lionel donated a superb diorama representing the Delta Museum on a scale of 1/72 with the Concorde SA, the three Dassault Mirages and the Citroen Traction 7C.

We suggested that he later restore the 1/50 scale model that had been offered to us by our friend Dominique. This model had previously belonged to one of his friends and had been damaged in a quarry requiring much restoration work.

The initial repairs in progress can be seen below.

In 1988, at the end of the exibition of the model displayed at Carrefour commercial shopping mall which coincided with the SA arrival in Athis-Mons, Lionel took the Concorde model and began its transformation.

At the beginning of August this year we had a nice surprise to see Lionel showing up with the superb packaging to be used for all future relocations and exibitions of the model.

Here is the result of the transformation.

Now we can see through the window or in front of the projection screen the magnificent work done by Lionel.

To finish, here are a few small details… which make it a unique model.

A huge thank you to Lionel for this wonderful job.
