Rafalou and the SA are infinitely sad.

Daphné Desrosiers has left us and we are infinitely sad like her mascot Rafalou and our Concorde, the plane she loved very much.

Every time Daphne passed in front of the museum, a quick hello was needed, and we always received her with great pleasure. She always had a new idea, a new project in the works, or quite simply wanted to share with a friend, her other love beside Rafalou… Concorde

This is how we will keep Daphne in our memory.

Before the pandemic we had decided together to talk about her visit of February 16, 2019 with Rafalou and Eric Stevenson, but the time passed too quickly and the article remained unfinished. We are going to publish it now to share with our readers this visit that will always remain in our memory.

“RAFALOU paid us another visit.

Arriving this Saturday morning at the museum, Rafalou, Daphné, Noé and Pierre were in deep discussion with a miraculous...

No it's not a joke the proof is here:

This friend of Rafalou and Daphne is Eric Stevenson in person, one of the 156 miracles of the US Airways Airbus A320 flight "Cactus 1549" that Captain Chesley Sullenberger "Sully" landed on the Hudson River on the 15th January 2009.

After the first surprise, Noé and Pierre offer our visitors the opportunity to redo this memorable flight in the A320 simulator. A quick programming and we find ourselves with a few privileged people in the cockpit, Noé will be the co-pilot with our guest on the seat of Sully…

Preparing for the flight and Eric takes control…

Even if the flight will only last a few minutes, everything is done according to the rules of the art...

Rafalou also takes the opportunity to play a role, that of a wild goose...

This visit is an unforgettable encounter for all of us and we will remember Eric's reaction, who noticed that the Concorde on the simulator screen was also in the same place as the one on display in New York Harbour when it was waiting on the wing of the A320 , feet in the water of the Hudson.

From the simulator our visitor takes the opportunity to call Commander Sullenberger live to give him the impressions he had thanks to Noah and Daphne's initiative.

Editor's note: On July 4, a year later, our friend Noé and his friend Michel made a forced landing during the ferrying of a light plane between St Martin and Pointe-à-Pitre which will be as successful as that of Commander Sullenberger on the Hudson.

Now it's finally time to go and see what it's like in a Concorde...

We go from one seat to another; the smiles on the faces of Daphne and Eric show the pleasure they both took in our museum and in the Concorde.

We evoke memories, anecdotes and the good times pass too quickly.

We ask Eric to sign our guestbook to mark his visit to the museum.

Here is the superb dedication that our visitor will leave us with great kindness.

Passionate people are criticized, jealous but very often misunderstood...

Here is the memory that we will keep forever of Daphne.
