2022 and 2023 saw the premature departure of our friends: Joël MESNARD, Joël CASSET and Jacques GUILLEM. The families have entrusted us with a large collection of books and aeronautical magazines which we will add to the archives of Nicolas Roland PAYEN and to the various donations which already made up the museum library.

Newspapers: English, German, Italian, Japanese and even French… Le Fana, Icare, Le Trait d’union and technical manuals from the GPPA in Angers.

As the walls of the existing museum and bungalow are not extendable and while waiting to realize our project for a documentation centre... we requested help from the AIritage endowment fund and here is the result:

A few days after the electrical installation is completed to ensure heating and air conditioning, the assembly of the very practical shelves begins, which will prevent the shelves from bending under the weight of magazines.

Now the long work of sorting and classifying all these newspapers and magazines will begin to facilitate consultation and their indexing to facilitate storage on the shelves.

Within a few months we will be able to make available to interested people flight and maintenance manuals for a certain number of airliners and, above all, magazines which can be consulted on site by researchers and librarians.
