The Yellow Table Project – Part 2
- 7 juin
- 2 min de lecture
This Wednesday, June 3, 2026, a major step was taken toward the realization of the "Yellow Table Project."
The agreement with the Boulle School has been signed… now the dream is about to become a reality.

Here is how this beautiful day unfolded.
The museum team has scheduled a meeting for 2:00 PM to receive representatives from the Boulle school, who were accompanied by:
Ms. Brigitte FLAMAND, Inspector General of Education, Sport, and Research, Design & Crafts (IGESR).
Mr. Laurent SCONDINO-MAZANEC, Director, Headmaster.
Ms. Anissa LOUMI, Deputy Director of Training Programs.
The cabinetmaking teachers: Aloïs BONNAUD, André DUGUAY, Fabrice CHOUARD and his students considered for the realization of the project.
Taken by a last-minute obligation, Mr. Jean Jacques GROUSSEAU, Mayor of Athis Mons, delegated his deputies, Ms. Sandrine BOLMIN, Ms. Alexandra BEAUDOIN, and Mr. Jean Jacques DELAVEAU, to represent the city and to demonstrate the interest in our project.
Pierre GRANGE, president of the APCOS** association, and Pierre DUBOIS, a former engineer who worked on our Concorde, joined us to share their experiences and memories.
On Wednesday the museum is open to the public; we also had the pleasure of welcoming four English visitors, volunteers from the Brooklands Museum who came to visit the SA.
And our friends from DIVIpassion, Sophie BAUDUIN and Pierre MARCHAL, who produced a photo and video report.
Upon arrival, introductions are made before entering the museum:
Our president, Madame Françoise PAYEN, welcomes our visitors and talks about the beginnings of the project and our desire to dedicate the tabel to the memory of Pierre DUDAL, a former student of the Boulle school and one of the test pilots of our aircraft.
Exchanges quickly develop between members of the association and our visitors in a simple, cordial and friendly atmosphere.
But it's time to join SA for the part dedicated to signing the agreement.

The long-awaited moment arrives: the signing of the agreement for the "Yellow Table Project" by the president of the association and the headmaster of the Boulle school.

We witnessed moments of simple question and answer exchange which were greatly appreciated by everyone.

The students attentively attended this formal part of the ceremony, awaiting the rest of the afternoon, which would be dedicated to the full-scale model of their "yellow table project," the model used for the signing of the agreement.
This model, created by the team, will be used in a few minutes to validate the assembly and disassembly solutions aboard the aircraft, as well as to develop new ideas for adapting their project to the aircraft.

Before heading back to school, Mesdames FLAMAND, LOUMI, and Monsieur SCONDINO-MAZANEC posed in front of our SA, which, let's remember once again, arrived at Orly on May 20, 1976…
Yes, 50 years ago already, and it will now also be cherished by the students of the Boulle School.

But for the rest, you'll have to wait a few days while we select the images to showcase the wonderful moments the team spent interacting with the professors and to hear Pierre GRANGE talk about his work in his old office…
