European Heritage Days 2022
As announced in our previous article Athis Aviation Musée Delta in partnership with the Maison de l’environnement (Orly Airport house for public promotion) and the Mission Patrimoine (Heritage Mission) of the Aéroport de Paris Group (ADP) organised the visits on this sunny day of September 18 which began with the arrival of the first 2CVs.
A charming hostess greeted them at the bottom of the SA gangway.
Each car brought 3 or 4 visitors to each rotation and while waiting for the end of the visit the crews exchanged stories of "Deuches".
But before departure we think about the comfort of future passengers, checking the tire pressure.
In the morning the 2 CV superbly maintained before the departure to the Central Park of ADP.
Still as valiant at the end of the day despite the passages around the Radom which had just been completed and whose ground was not yet leveled but which posed no problem for the cars and the 342 passengers who visited the museum and the SA.
A beautiful encounter between planes and cars to be repeated often…
Leaving in the evening, the site suddenly appeared empty to us, but a new day awaited us on Sunday.
A sunny Sunday allowed us to welcome more than 250 visitors.
But a new day awaited us the next day.
