After our three articles devoted to the "mystery of the yellow table" failed to find a concrete
answer regarding the fate of the original yellow table of the SA, the mystery will transform
into the "yellow table project".
As mentioned in the previous article, we opted for a new approach to the creation of a table
that will not be a simple approximate copy but a new project for the students of the Boulle
school, founded in 1886, it is a public establishment, higher education of applied arts and a
high school of crafts of interior architecture and design.
This is the Boulle school.

We expect the agreement with the school to be finalized and drafted very soon, and as soon as we
receive it, we will be able to officially announce the start of the "yellow table project".
From the official start of the project, we are counting on the students of the school to provide
regular progress reports. We hope that this project will become their "masterpiece," as has
been the case for hundreds of years with the journeymen of the « Companions du Tour de
France ».
A personal note: this project is particularly close to my heart because it reminds me of my maternal
grandfather, who was a cabinetmaker. At the beginning of the 20th century, after traveling around
Europe, passing through Warsaw, Vienna, Prague, and Budapest, he returned to his hometown of
Sombor as a journeyman and was his own boss for 50 years, creating superb furniture. His
masterpiece, a carpenter's workbench, is now in the possession of one of his grandsons.
Of course, he didn't have a computer to create his designs… AP.
And this is where the new project will be carried out.

For its realization, our young artists will only have the photos already published in the three
previous articles, the plans of the SB table received from Aérothèque, as well as the
additional measurements taken by Laurent.
And this cabin layout plan.

A meeting is scheduled very soon for a visit by the school's leaders, teachers and students to
plan and launch the project.
To be continued….
